Afternoon Literature is intended to be a news, features, and review site for anything literary.
I founded Afternoon Literature in 2017, after years of a small personal book blog on Tumblr, to be a permanent space for all things I find interesting in the world of books. These interests range from young adult and popular literature – about which I also write academic papers – to detective fiction, fantasy, contemporary reads and classics. I read just about anything and everything, depending on mood and recommendations and hope that Afternoon Literature will reflect that variety.
Most importantly, Afternoon Literature is an open forum for my opinion on books and bookish things, and I hope to not only share my opinion but hear from others who are just as passionate about books as I am.
